The Flamenco
The flamenco is one of the most famous musicforms in the world, and in Spain particually. No one knows where the flamenco was born but the musical influence shows that India, Marocco, Egypt and Greece has all been a significant contrubution when it comes to the developement of the flamenco. Today the flamenco is associated with the spanish romes, and people do believe that it was the romes who brought the flamenco into spain.
It is a very old tradition, and no one really knows when the flamenco was born. The flamenco is a very passionate and complex form of music, and it takes many years to learn. The flamenco contains three forms of art, the song- el cante, the guitarplaying- el toque and the dancing- el baile. Every part is equally important to create the perfect performance.
There are different types of flamenco, and the most common is fandango, soleares, zapateado and alegrias. The songs of the flamenco always shows strong emotions and are expressed with music and handclaps, guitar and Cajon. It is common that the songs are expressed acapella without anything else, for the listeners this is a very emotional moment. Some people claims that it is a hard and difficult work to learn, and it takes years to learn how to be a good player and singer. Other people are saying that the heart of flamenco is in the performers ability to express emotions.
The flamenco dance is very complicated and it takes years of practice to learn this complicated dance. The dance is all about the women, her dress and her shoes. The dresses are always very beautiful and there is a lot of work behind each dress. The most of the dresses are handmade and that makes every dress unique.
